A-League player Bruce Djite made a visit to Jet Park this week to talk to Modbury’s Under 17s and 19s players
about his experiences as a professional footballer, and the choices and sacrifices he has made in following his
dream to play at an elite level.  

Funded by the FFA, Bruce is one of a number of professional footballers visiting
clubs to talk about the detrimental effects of the use of alcohol, smoking and illicit drugs on talented young players.
The players took the opportunity to ask Bruce questions about his experience playing for overseas clubs in Turkey
and China, who he idolised as a child and what goals he still hopes to achieve.

Now playing with Adelaide United, Bruce is a great role model for aspiring young footballers.
